Jonah a 45 year-old widowed mother of six orphaned children from a destitute village in Kyeshero Sub-county, Kanungu District lost her husband to an accident and struggles to provide for her children. She does small scale subsistence crop growing just for home consumption but also not enough for a while.
Her biggest challenge is providing essential needs for my children such as educational requirements, shelter, medical care and land for crop growing. She wants her children to go to school but she can’t afford fees.
She would be grateful for support with school fees or a selfhelp project such that she can be able to give to her family a brighter future for a chance to succeed.

Aida is a very poor woman who’s vulnerable to homelessness and a mother of 3 children who would be in school but due to extreme poverty they lacked school requirements and dropped out of school last year. Her children are malnutritious and inflicted with jiggers and lice. All the family members; the mother and neither children nor the mother have sandals/ shoes. They are totally facing challenge of very poor living standards.
She works on others’ gardens for food.
Aida says that if she gets support with a small project like keeping a pig or a goat she can build from there to uplift her living standards.
She entirely desires for her children to study and become anything in future but she can’t afford school expenses.
Her last born child is Gerald Tugume, the one we found home with jiggers and lice. He is in P.1.
